Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH), a world leader in high quality products began investing in young designers' companies in 2013. Maxime Simoens, a French designer, was the first company to attract their attention. The 28-year-old designer is renowned and considered as one of the most promising talents in Paris. Christian Dior honcho, Sidney Toledano, coached Simoens in business. They invested in his company to help it expand internationally.

They aim to foster fresh talent to help them in their quest to take over the fashion industry, reported Fashionista. However, Women's Wear Daily (WWD), the leading news source on women's fashion, disclosed that Maxime Simoëns has parted ways with LVMH. The designer shared with WWD the separation, and the fact that such was reached through a mutual agreement.

He did not give any further information, and stated that he cannot elaborate on grounds of confidentiality. However, the recent turn of events did not deter his belief in his company and its future. "I'm extremely serene regarding my future, for my brand and other projects," he asserted.

However, Vogue reported that though Simoens appears to be very confident and calm, the designer has taken a break from working on his signature collection. He has also reduced the number of staff working in his Paris-based fashion house, where he previously held runway shows.

Simoens is one of the young talents first chosen for a minor investment by LVMH to separate from the latter. The French luxury brand has invested in a lot of other promising designers. Marco de Vincenzo and Nicolas Kirkwood are few names included in the roster. These designers are perceived as future big names in the industry like Givenchy and Louis Vuitton in the future, as reported by Vogue.

Meanwhile, LVMH has remained silent and declined to give any comment on Wednesday.
