Kansas Farmer Derek Klingenberg recently uploaded a video titled “#CowArt with a drone” on Jan. 27, 2015. The video shows overhead drone camera footage of him manipulating a herd of cattle into forming a huge smiley face icon whilst driving the feed truck on a field.

The video begins with the cow herd following the movement of the truck as Klingenberg drives it around. A separate panel on the video shows footage of the Kansas farmer making comments as he drives and communicates with partner Kyle Riesen, who in turn assists him by giving feedback on the current positioning of the cows. Klingenberg and Riesen strive to adjust the cows as the video progresses, with some parts being shown on time-lapse. The smiley face made by the cows can clearly be seen by the 4-minute mark.

Derek Klingenberg is a YouTube sensation known for his creative video antics involving music and farming. He has uploaded a video of himself calling an entire herd of cattle by playing his trombone titled “Serenading the cattle with my trombone (Lorde – Royals)," a video which stands as one of his most popular ones to date. Klingenberg majored in Agriculture during college and played trombone in the marching band.

Farmer Derek Klingenberg has over 20 million views and 48,000 subscribers to date. Watch “#CowArt with a drone” here.
