While "Far Cry 4" is yet to be released, Ubisoft has announced on its official blog that new features and updates will be made available for preorder via a Season Pass. The latter will reportedly give gamers access to "intense" downloadable contents.

The open-world shooter "Far Cry 4" will have new multiple DLC packs involving both multiplayer and single-player contents. These exciting downloadable contents will be available in the Season Pass for $29.99. Gamers will be able to access new missions involving a prison break and even a fight for survival against the Himalayan yetis.

The first DLC is called "The Syringe." Gamers who bought the Season Pass will be given exclusive access to the content when "Far Cry 4" launches on November 14, according to Gamespot. Basically, this singer-player or co-op mission requires players to stop Pagan Min from getting ahold of a "rare recipe and using it against the rebellion."

The second "Far Cry 4" DLC, "Escape from Durgesh Prison," is literally a prison break mission. Players will be locked up and tortured in Yuma's prison. As Ubisoft announced, one or two players must find a way to escape.

The third content is the "Hurk Deluxe Pack." Ubisoft on its blog didn't reveal further details and only said that it's a five-mission DLC featuring Hurk ("Far Cry 3"). Three of the missions are reportedly called Yak Farm, Blood Ruby, and Hurk's Redemption. The remaining two missions were not mentioned.

The fourth DLC caters to the sadistic side of gamers. "Overrun" will let players assume the character of Rakshasa or Golden Path. This multiplayer, PvP mission lets teams battle for control over various territories around Kryat.

Lastly, the fifth "Far Cry 4" DLC included in the Season Pass is called "Valley of the Yetis." It's a single player and co-op mission, in which Ubisoft warned players of a possible "Yeti danger" lurking in caves. Here "Ajay finds himself crash landing on a Himalayan ridge," according to Ubisoft. He would have to find ways to survive in the frozen landscape. Players would reportedly have to "scavenge for tools and upgrade their campsite, while fending off deadly nighttime attacks from a mysterious cult."

Ubisoft claims these DLCs will be cheaper when purchased in the Season Pass instead of individually. However, developers reportedly also failed to mention the cost of each DLC. While "The Syringe" will come with the launch of "Far Cry 4," it's still uncertain when the other content missions will be released.
