Screenwriter/producer Simon Kinberg has responded to reports about the "Fantastic Four" reboot being "a mess." The movie is reportedly going in for some reshoots, a normal practice in Hollywood. The first trailer of the movie is said to be arriving in February.

"Fantastic Four" will be making some changes to the original story that fans of the franchise are familiar with. The plot of the movie revolves around four youngsters travelling to an alternate universe, where they acquire superpowers. The role of Johnny Storm, will be played by Michael B. Jordan.

Details about the upcoming movie are still under wraps and the producers have still not released the first trailer of the movie. Fans of the franchise were surprised to read a report by BleedingCool that appeared online citing a senior executive calling the movie "a mess." Simon Kinberg reached out to Latino-Review and responded to the negative reports that paint a bad picture about the movie.

The screenwriter/producer reportedly confirmed that "Fantastic Four" will be heading for 3 to 4 days of additional photography with director Josh Trank and some key cast members in Louisiana. Contrary to previous reports, Simon Kingerb said that the filmmakers are "very excited" about the project and they "can't wait" to share it with the fans.

He also reportedly confirmed that the first official teaser trailer of "Fantastic Four" has been attached to "Kingsman: The Secret Service" movie. Fans of the franchise will be able to see the teaser trailer on February 13 in the movie theatres.

The report compares the negative reports surrounding "Fantastic Four" to that of the negative buzz about the "World War Z" movie starring Brad Pitt. Matthew Vaughn, the director of "X-Men: First Class," has reportedly watched Josh Trank's movie and liked it.

Commenting on the report, fans of the franchise have expressed their disappointment with what they have heard so far about "Fantastic Four" reboot. Some of the fans refused to take Simon Kingerb's word on the subject, since he's involved in the movie project. But others point out that the negative reports about the movie are "unsubstantiated rumours." The first official trailer may be an indication about what to expect from the movie.
