Pictures of Eddie Redmayne from his forthcoming movie “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” have been released online. The actor can be seen carrying a suitcase, which is said to be the trigger of the events in the movie.

Redmayne plays the role of the protagonist Newt Scamander in the movie. Pictures posted on Collider show the actor walking in the streets of New York City. The movie is set in the 1920s, which is about 70 years before the events of the “Harry Potter” movies.

Newt is a magizoologist who visits New York in the movie. According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, the main plot of the movie revolves around Newt’s magical creatures escaping from his suitcase and he spends his time trying to capture them.

The case is magical and is very large when opened. Inside the case there are “expansive habitats” with “a collection of rare and endangered magical creatures” that Newt has collected from his travels. The capture of the escaped creatures in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is of some significance to the American wizards, who live in fear of the non-magic folk in the country; who they call “No-Maj.”

A previous Entertainment Weekly reports states that some of the magical creatures that are expected to be seen in the movie are a treasure hunting creature called Niffler, a pale serpent called Ashwinder, a green-black coloured Irish phoenix called Augurey, a stick like creature called Bowtruckle, a forked tailed magical dog called Crup and the sea creatures known as Merpeople.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is slated to be released on Nov. 18, 2016 in the US. The release date information for Australia has still not been announced by the producers. Some of the other cast members of the movie include Colin Farrell (Graves), Ezra Miller (Credence) and Katherine Waterston (Propentina Goldstein).
