Actress Renee Zellweger poses at the 21st annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles, California
Renee Zellweger thinks fashion and styles of actresses in red carpet events are taken way more seriously than they should. She thinks fashion is half of the fun of these events and should be covered but said she could not see the point of criticising how female artists choose to express themselves. Renée Zellweger returns on the big screen as the beloved Bridget Jones, and fans can’t get enough of the trailer of her new film, “Bridget Jones’s Baby.”

Twelve years after being seen in “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason,” Zellweger reprises her role as the modern British woman who had relentless battles with the bulge and struggles with relationships.

The third installment of the highly successful movie franchise, based on Helen Fielding’s books, exclusively showed its trailer exclusively at “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” [Watch below!] Its first scene shows a wedding, with Bridget as the radiant bride. Her happy ever after is cut short, however, when she gets jilted with the altar. It doesn’t take long until she picks up the pieces, and soon she says she’s enjoying her new life.

There have been a lot of changes in Bridget’s life – from her weight and even to her taste of music. She says goodbye to Celine Dion’s “All By Myself,” and switches to tracks of Ed Sheeran, who makes a cameo at the film.

Bridget also shares that she has a top job as a producer at a news program and is maintaining a good relationship with her ex-boyfriend Mark Darcy, played by Colin Firth. She also finds a new man, Jack Qwant, played by “Grey’s Anatomy” star Patrick Dempsey. While fans are disappointed not to see Hugh Grant in the new movie, they are excited to see how Dempsey’s character energises a love triangle with Bridget and Mark.

The trailer also reveals that Bridget is set to face the mother of all issues – a bun in the oven. What’s worse, she doesn’t know who’s the father – Mark or Jack. Emma Thompson figures in the teaser as an obstetrician. In one scene, she is seen performing two ultra-sound scans, as Bridget apparently made each man believe they are fathering a child.

Fans can’t get enough of the trailer, and took to Twitter to express their excitement to see the film, which some christened as “Bridget Jones 3.”

The trailer also shows cast members, including Jim Broadbent , Gemma Jones and Sally Phillips. “Bridget Jones’s Baby,” directed by Sharon Maguire will hit the movie theatres in September 2016.
