Family Vacation Amidst Divorce Headlines: Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner And Kids Visit Bahamas

“Daredevil” co-stars and real-life partners Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner spend some family time in the Bahamas with their kids despite divorce headlines. E News confirmed this Thursday that the Garner-Affleck household is currently at their vacation home in the Bahamas.

It was reported that Affleck and Garner had took the time off work to spend some lovely family time with kids, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. The celebrity stars definitely had a strong sense of familial ties amidst their divorce. It was reported that Affleck and Garner had to wait for school to be over until they announce to their children their plans to divorce.

"They plan on co-parenting and doing absolutely everything in the best interest of the kids," a source told People. It was revealed that amidst their split, their children remain to be their “top priority.”

"They were together as a family that day. The family felt it was important to be together and they were together. The family is united and, no matter what, will protect the kids. This isn't easy for anyone and it's devastating to Ben too. He loves his family and will always put them first," the source said.

Us Weekly also took note of the family’s vacation to the Bahamas, a place so close to their hearts. "[The Bahamas] is a place they’ve been going to for years that’s very private and special for their kids. When either of them have had work commitments they have been leaving to go fulfill them," a source revealed.

Earlier this week, Affleck and Garner announced their divorce plans, ending their 10-year marriage. "After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce," the former lovebirds released a joint statement to E News. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time."

Despite celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary, sources tell E News that the celebrity couple has been privately separated for 10 months prior the public announcement. For their future plans, Affleck will be staying at their Brentwood property although in a separate house from his future ex-wife.
