She took to Facebook and posted a heartfelt tribute to honour her late husband Dave Goldberg. “He was completely dedicated to his children in every way – and their strength these past few days is the best sign I could have that Dave is still here with us in spirit … Things will never be the same – but the world is better for the years my beloved husband lived,” Sheryl wrote in the post.

She also stated that her husband was her “rock.” He remained calm when she got upset. She mentioned that they did not get much time to spend with each other, but she was grateful. Sheryl wrote in her post that they have only buried his body while his soul and spirit is still with them.

On Monday, Sheryl Sandberg came back to Facebook and resumed her duties as COO. Mark Zuckerberg, founder and CEO of Facebook, also paid tribute to Dave via a Facebook post.
