British actor Christian Bale poses for a portrait while promoting his upcoming movie "Out of the Furnace" in Los Angeles, California November 16, 2013. The distillation of the time spent among Pittsburgh's down-and-out steel mill borough of Braddock's working-class single-family homes and rusted-out iron furnaces along the Monongahela River has delivered the elements director Scott Cooper needed for "Out of the Furnace" - a tale of brothers and revenge. Starring Bale and Casey Affleck, it will be in wide release in U.S. movie theaters on December 6. Picture taken November 16, 2013. Reuters/Mario Anzuoni

New videos from the upcoming movie "Exodus: Gods and Kings" have been released by the producers. One of the videos shows an intense scene from the movie about Rhamses questioning the relationship between Moses and Miriam. Director Ridley Scott also shares some thoughts about the movie in another video. [Warning: Spoiler Alert!]

Rhamses appears to be jealous of the close relationship between Moses and Miriam. The clip from the movie (seen below) shows him asking Miriam if she was Mosses' sister. Miriam says she is not Moses' sister, which enrages Rhamses, but Moses is seen smiling.

Rhamses physically threatens to cut off Miriam's arm and is about to do so but Moses intervenes and tells him what he wants to hear. Readers who are familiar with the story should note that Rhamses and Moses grew up together but later turned out to be rivals when the king of Egypt refused to let the slaves go.

The director of "Exodus: Gods and Kings," Ridley Scott, shared just how big the upcoming movie will be. "First of all, it's epic in scale," the director said in the video. The video released by the producers shows the massive scenery of the ancient world and the attention to detail on the sets.

The director believes that the viewers may not have seen the world of Egypt quite like what they might find in the upcoming movie. The notable movies on the subject released previously include "The Ten Commandments," which was released in 1956 and the animation movie "The Prince of Egypt," which was released in 1998.

The story will focus on how Moses, a non-believer, has been cast out by Rhamses fearing a prophesy that talks about a man leading the slaves to freedom. Actor Christian Bale, who plays the saviour of the people in the movie, talks about how his character goes through a purification process when Moses is cast out.

Moses will emerge as the leader of a revolution against Rhamses. Some of the plagues that will hit Egypt in "Exodus: Gods and Kings" can be seen in the video. The river turning into blood, a swarm of locusts, the death of the first born and Egypt covered in darkness are shown in the video. Christian Bale says that the viewers may feel a little sympathy for the king of Egypt when he goes after the freed slaves toward the end.
