Entertainers of the Year: Daniel Radcliffe Graces Cover of Entertainment Weekly
Gracing the cover of Entertainment Weekly is Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe. With over ten years in the film industry, this wizard proves he deserves the top spot as Entertainer of the Year.
Radcliffe has definitely mastered the art of How to Succeed in a Business without really trying. Even after the end of the magical and most renowned franchise of all time last July that alone did not stop Radcliffe's rise to fame.
Daniel first broke into the scene at the tender age of 11 portraying J.K. Rowling's beloved Potter like no other actor ever could. However apart from his popular role as the Boy Who Lived, Daniel had even more earlier projects.
Small productions such as David Copperfield and the Tailor of Panama added up to his acting experience. Aside from onscreen adaptations, Radcliffe is also skilled at belting it out on Broadway.
The actor's first ever star role in the Broadway production, Equus, garnered him attention from all over the world.
Being included as Entertainer of the Year alongside Hugh Jackman and Adele, Radcliffe even made it to the ''Forbes'' list. Young as he is, Radcliffe is one Hollywood heavyweight that surely has the bang for the buck.
His Broadway show role as J. Pierrepont in How to Succeed in Business is coming to an end this month but that however does not mark the end of his acting career.
Radcliffe still has a few magic tricks up his sleeve with his next role in the supernatural thriller, The Woman in Black.
What does the talented magician have to say about all his career?
"It's been very successful. I've done some work I'm really proud of in that time, particularly onstage in 'How to Succeed.' Just the process of doing it and doing it and doing it, I've gotten so much better, I think, during the run, as is the way it should be. It's been a great year, but I think next year is the big one for me."
"'The Woman in Black' is coming out, and I've also got a couple other things I'll be doing. The next two or three years are going to be pretty important, I think, and if[2011] is not a breakout year, it's a breakaway year," says the star in an interview for MTV news.
From being great at wizardry to owning the stage on Broadway, Radcliffe proves yet again that he indeed is Entertainer of the Year. Everyone is surely expecting more from this talented British actor and to think he's only just begun.
