Spanish singer, Enrique Iglesias is headed Down Under for a series of shows in Sydney and Melbourne in July.

This is part of the songwriter’s ‘Euphoria World Tour’. Joining Iglesias are selected special guests including rapper Pitbull, according to the Australian Associated Press.

The superstar who had reportedly sold 55 million records worldwide, recorded 500,000 copies of his ninth studio album, Euphoria in Australia alone. The sales constitute three singles only from his ninth album.

Organizers of the tour are also considering holding shows in Brisbane. His tour Down Under will be held in the same month as the scheduled shows Miley Cyrus is holding for her Gypsy tour.

Looks like Enrique has finally granted what her thousands of fans have been asking for as they have been calling him to visit Oz.

The Spanish pop superstar has a fan page dedicated for his Aussie fans. It’s called Enrique Tour Australia 2011.

MTV News noted that fans have been campaigning for the singer’s visit to Australia.

“Enrique's song reached #2 here!!! WITHOUT ANY PROMO!!! So, what are you waiting for Enrique?? You obviously have a HUGE fan base here!! WE ♥ YOU!!”

Another wrote: “Come back to ur many thousand Aussie fans -Weee missssss youuuuu. Don't 4get us on the Euphoria Tour 2o11. U promised!!!!!”

For Enrique die-hard fans, tickets for Enrique World tour will go on sale on May 23.
