A clip of the “Empire” scene in which Jussie Smollett’s character Jamal Lyons performed the song “You’re So Beautiful” was published on YouTube on Feb. 25 and has since been viewed more than 4.2 million times.

Other “Empire” cast members seen in the three-minute clip are Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon, Antoine McKay as Bunkie Williams and Naomi Campbell as Camilla Marks sitting on the lap of Bryshere Y. Gray as Hakeem Lyon, among others.

On March 28, “You’re So Beautiful” ranked number 26 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart along with other “Empire” tracks, which are "Conquerer" featuring Estelle and Smollett at number 29, "Good Enough" featuring Smollett at number 33, "What Is Love" featuring V. Bozeman at number 39, "Drip Drop" featuring Yazz & Serayah McNeill at number 40 and "No Apologies" featuring Smollet and Yazz.

Currently, “You’re So Beautiful” by the “Empire” cast featuring Smollett and Yazz ranks number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart just below Selena Gomez’s “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at number 86 and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” at number 87.

“You’re So Beautiful” was written by Smollett and producer Justin Bostwick for Gabourey Sidibe’s character Becky, the assistant of Lucious Lyon. Watch the three-minute clip of Smollett’s performance of the song here:
