“Empire” Season 2 Episode 4 saw Andre Lyon (Trai Byers) and his wife Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) digging Vernon’s (Malik Yoba) dead body. Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) caught them in the act and thanked them for saving his life because Lucious was looking to kill Vernon for telling the feds that he is Bunkie's (Antoine McKay) real killer.

With such developments in the previous episode, “Empire” Episode 5 titled “Be True” is expected to be highlighting Andre and his return to Empire. The latest trailer shows what was expected, as Lucious is seen saying to Andre, “welcome back to Empire son." He also informs him that they are reviving an old label called Gutter Life Records.

The trailer reveals another interesting and surprising scene of Andre. He is seen getting baptized. Before his baptism Andre is seen saying to Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) "I'm not a good person, mom. I've done horrible things." Cookie replies "So have I, Dre. God knows your heart."

The promo also shows that Lucious gets to know about Andre’s baptism and he shuns the idea outrightly and says “The only commandments I won’t follow here are mine.” Lucious does not look happy with Andre’s decision to wash all his sins by taking a dip in holy water.

While Andre is taking steps to rid his soul of past sins, Cookie and Anika (Grace Gealey) work with Laz Delgado (Adam Rodriguez) to organise a big block party to launch their company, according to synopsis. The launch party of Lyon Dynasty will be highlighted by a signature anthem written by Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray).

The synopsis also revealed that Hakeem gets into a romantic relationship with the lead singer of his girl group. And Jamal (Jussie Smollett) collaborates with Ne-Yo (guest star) for his latest song.

With Andre back in Empire by earning his father’s acceptance and Jamal almost killed someone in past (Season 1) for his father, it would be interesting to see Hakeem doing something out of the line to get back in Empire in the upcoming episodes.

“Empire” Season 2 Episode 5 titled “Be True,” airs on Fox Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 9 p.m. in the U.S.
