Emma Watson has grown a lot since she starred in the famous "Harry Potter" series. Now, she stars in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "The Bling Ring" that show her versatility as an actress.

Emma Watson was famous for her role as the genius muggle Hermione. However, as the series came to a close last year, Emma embarked on new roles and showed her capabilities as an actress.

Emma stars in two completely different films playing almost opposite personas. However, based on the photos and trailer, Emma was able to pull off both characters.

In "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," Emma plays the role of Sam, a mediocre high school student who hangs out with two awkward and unpopular kids in school. This may remind us of the Harry Potter trio that always go in an adventure. Emma's character struggles in high school life.

In "The Bling Ring," on the other hand, Emma Watson is a sexy yet bad girl. She paraded in bra covered by a leather jacket and short shorts paired with towering heels. Emma Watson really embodied the role of a wild girl.

The movie, directed by highly-acclaimed director Sofia Coppola, narrated the story of a group of young California teenagers who robbed the homes of a long list of celebrities, including Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox.

The group is notorious in robbing Hollywood homes of high profile celebrities. Emma will play the role of Nicki who is one of the girls with an ex-Playboy playmate as her mother. Emma's character is loosely based Alexis Neiers, who, after filming a reality TV pilot for E! called "Pretty Wild," was arrested for being a member of the Bling Ring. She later pled no contest to felony theft for the Bloom burglary and spent one month in jail.

With her new roles, Emma was no longer stereotyped as "Harry Potter's" Hermione.
