Eminem promotes Shady Wars

While waiting for Eminem’s new album 2016 release, fans can pass time playing the rapper’s game app "Shady Wars," which just got upgraded with new tracks composed by the multi-awarded artist himself.

Eminem announced the updates on Shady Wars to his 20.5 million followers on Twitter and 8.7 million followers on Instagram. Shady Wars is a free game app that runs on iOS and Android-powered devices.

“Ask and you shall receive! #ShadyWars got re-upped with a bunch of new tracks,” Marshall Mathers III said in social media post dated July 7, 2016.

Players can reach Rap Pro, Rap Star and Rap God status by catching the lyrics of Eminem’s songs while trying to avoid drones and getting as much coins as possible.

The updated version of Shady Wars promises “new songs and new Shady powers” to hardcore Eminem fans and players. The five star-rated game app features new tracks, including “Berzerk,” which Eminem produced for the upcoming movie “Why Him?”

Created by Music Powered Games in cooperation with Eminem’s Shady Records, Shady Wars have been updated three times since its launch last Nov. 15. The game app is free to download from Apple App Store and Google Play.

Eminem collectible items sold-out

Pressure is mounting over the release of Eminem’s new album for 2016. Eminem last released an album in 2013 with “The Marshall Mathers LP 2.” The multi-awarded musician has offered a limited-edition “The Marshall Maters LP” cassette re-release and collectible items via his website. As of May 23, the collectible items were sold out.

Aside from his venture in the gaming industry, Eminem is reportedly busy composing new tracks for the television adaptation of the 2002 crime thriller “Narc.” In a move to venture into television, the rapper is negotiating to act as executive producer and musical supervisor of the show, which is set in his hometown in Detriot, Michigan.
