Marshall Bruce Mathers III a.k.a. Eminem could be an executive producer for a TV series inspired by the 2002 movie “Narc.” Meanwhile, artist Nathan Wyburn is getting several thousands of YouTube views for his take on Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” song and its lyrics, notably “mom’s spaghetti.”

Eminem is “in negotiations” to be executive producer and music supervisor of Paramount TV’s “Narc” series, according to Deadline. “Narc” movie writer and director Joe Carnahan has reportedly written a pilot script, while Eminem has been tapped to write original songs as part of the series offering. The show is expected to be presented to networks soon enough.

“Narc” movie, starring Ray Liotta and Janarcson Patric, is a crime thriller set in Detroit a.k.a. The Motor City, where Eminem was born and raised.

Joe Carnahan’s most recent TV projects include “State of Affairs” (ran for only one season on NBC) starring Katherine Heigl and “The Blacklist” (soon to air its fourth season on NBC) starring James Spader.

Eminem is part of the DC Comics and DC Entertainment movie adaptation, “Suicide Squad” (release date: August 5, 2016), written and directed by David Ayer. His 2002 song “Without Me” is part of the movie’s hip-hop dominated official soundtrack. It stars Will Smith, Ben Affleck, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie among others.
