Nintendo NX Gaming Console And ‘Legend Of Zelda’ For Wii U

Nintendo hinted about an upcoming new gaming console dubbed as NX but the company refused to give details until the year 2016. Kotaku reported that the new gaming device will feature a new concept to succeed the Nintendo 3DS or the Wii U.

“Presently, we cannot talk about the time period when it (the NX) will go on sale or what it’s like. Because we are calling it a ‘new concept,’ we are not thinking of this as a simple replacement for 3DS or the Wii U,” Iwata said according to the website.

Aside from NX, another thing expected to happen on E3 2016 is the arrival of “Legend of Zelda” to Wii U. Based on the details at Wikipedia, the game features similar aspect based on the original “Legend of Zelda” but with more freedom on deciding destinations, traveling methods and open world system. It is also in high definition graphics to be released next year, according to game producer Eiji Aonuma.

Project Morpheus By Sony And Xbox Slim From Microsoft

Latest generation of PlayStation gaming console is currently available with fresh hardware technology leaving Sony to concentrate on the commercialisation of Project Morpheus virtual reality gaming system. BBC reported that the new gaming system is expected to be ready by early 2016 according to PlayStation executive Shuhei Yoshida. Launching of the gaming system will commence within the first six months of 2016 with constant improvements during its sale.

For Microsoft’s gaming console Xbox, predictions came across with the idea of a slimmer and portable Xbox device after the company launched Xbox Elite Wireless Controller. Xbox remains without any portable versions to match with PlayStation Portable and Nintendo 3DS.

‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ And New ‘Assassin’s Creed’

Ubisoft already announced the upcoming “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate” set to be released on October 23 this year for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with latter release on Microsoft Windows by the last quarter of 2015. It is the ninth major game instalment of the series centred on the 1868 Industrial Revolution in London.

EA is also busy on developing the next “Mass Effect” game series called “Mass Effect: Andromeda.” As the name suggests, the game takes place in the Andromeda galaxy instead of Milky Way used on the previous trilogy. Players can play either male or female human protagonist and will be able to pilot the new Mako. According to BioWare Edmonton chief Yanick Roy, the original trilogy has been concluded and Shepard will no longer be a part of the new storyline in Andromeda. “Mass Effect: Andromeda” is set to be released in Q4 2016 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.
