“Dancing With the Stars” ("DWTS") Season 21 winner Bindi Irwin, 17, had legal issues with her $360,000 salary from the ABC dancing competition show, in which she partnered with Derek Hough, 30. However, the daughter of the late “The Crocodile Hunter” star Steve Irwin confirmed that the problem had been solved.

In an interview with TMZ, Irwin talked about the status of her “DWTS” Season 21 minor contract. She said, “We're all good. It's all sorted now. Yeah, we're all happy.”

It is required in California for a judge to approve contracts made on behalf of a minor. Parents waiving any rights to the salary of their child can be part of the process.

For Irwin, her mother Terri Irwin signed over her rights. However, there were legal issues when the court said that the father failed to sign off his rights, which was impossible because he died in 2006.

Irwin’s “DWTS” Season 21 base salary was $150,000, and with the additional pay she received as she advanced in the ABC dancing competition show, she earned a total of $360,000. After winning “DWTS” Season 21, she left the United States and went back to Australia.

In an interview with the “Today” show cited by 9News, Irwin said she felt like she had just woken up from an incredible dream. For her, the “DWTS” Season 21 finale was “such a wonderful night,” and for her, what meant the most was having her family with her every step of the way.

Known for wildlife conservation and not dancing, Irwin said joining “DWTS” Season 21 was “an incredible journey.” Now she is happy to be back at Australia Zoo, where she lives and works with her mother and her brother Robert Irwin.

In addition, Irwin denied the rumour that she recently married her boyfriend Chandler Powell, 19. She said the news was hilarious and the funniest thing she has heard in her life.
