All eyes are on the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton who will give birth to the royal heir of United Kingdom.

The Kate and Prince William revealed some of the plans on the arrival of the next heir to the British throne.

According to reports, there is an emergency plan for Kate to be taken to St. Mary's Hospital via helicopter in case she goes into labor early. Now that Kate has the potential to go into labor any time in her final month of pregnancy, that helicopter is on standby ready for her.

Also on standby is her sister Pippa, 29, and mother Carole Middleton, according to Us Weekly. "It's important to Kate," a Middleton family friend told Us, "as William could take a while from Wales to get to the hospital."

It was recently reported that Kate is nervous that her husband will not be able to make it to the birth because of his role in the Royal Air Force.

Some reports claimed that there will be an elaborate announcement of the birth of the royal prince or princess. Last week, it is reported that a framed bulletin with the baby's gender, weight and time of birth just behind the gates of Buckingham Palace on a wood and gold easel. Moreover, the birth announcement will be transported on its own car.

"We want there to be a degree of theatre," a source told Us Weekly. "There will be gun salutes, flag flying and bell pealing. It's very exciting."

As for the first photo of the royal heir, the duke and duchess plan to pose with their little one upon leaving the hospital." They will pose with the baby for pictures," the source said.

Close friends of the royal couple recently revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge's due date was 13 July, observers believe a wrong date was given to misguide the press.

Clarence House officially announced in January that the happy couple were expecting a baby in July, and the Duchess told reporters in April that she was due more specifically "around mid-July, but apparently, babies have their own agenda."

However, William and Kate could be keeping the real date a secret, just as Princess Diana did when she was pregnant, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Nevertheless, the whole world cannot wait on the arrival of the royal baby.
