Kate Middleton has given birth to a healthy royal baby boy on July 22. Being a well-followed personality, the duchess' diet and fitness programs are hot topics among many moms-to-be. Prince William's wife has reportedly done "gentle exercises" including long walks and yoga throughout her pregnancy. How would she shed her post-baby weight in the next months?

The Duchess of Cambridge used to run regularly prior to her pregnancy. Thinking of the royal baby, Kate Middleton reportedly took private yoga classes to replace the cardio elements of her daily exercise.

"Pregnancy yoga is great. I'd definitely recommend that to Kate," pregnancy guru Heidi Murkoff had earlier told Hello Daily News. Apparently, the duchess has done her research. Hello also mentioned Kate had been reported to have subscribed to the Dukan Diet prior to her wedding. The same diet might help the 31-year-old duchess shave off the extra pounds she gained during her pregnancy.

Marie Claire UK recently reported Kate had been following a "special pregnancy fitness plan." It is understood a post-baby exercise or workout has already been laid out for the health-conscious duchess. From the "Great Kate Wait," Kate's massive following will be fixated on the "Great Kate Post-Baby Fitness Program."

Among celebrities known for getting back into shape quickly after pregnancy are supermodel and R.I.P.D. actress Marisa Miller, Malin Ackerman and Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Duchess Catherine is more than likely to get back in shape as quickly as these celebs, considering her royal resources and willpower.

"The key is to do what you can in the time that you can, and do it more intense to make (up) for the lack of time!" This is a post-baby tip from E! Online's fitness resource person, Andrea Orbeck.

"Those who exercise after a pregnancy notice big positives. Not only will you speed up your recovery and slim down but everyone will notice a boost in mood and feel good endorphins and most importantly energy levels," celebrity fitness trainer Matt Roberts told Huffington Post.

Acess Hollywood also offers some post-baby fitness tips through Jacqueline Leake, Fitness Manager at CRUNCH gyms. The tips include proper planking, using a stability ball, pulling a floor cobra, doing ball crunches and reverse crunches.
