A recent Advancement of Science American Association study warns men that they are at higher risk of acquiring neck and head cancers because of the human papillomavirus (HPV), usually transmitted through oral sex. If it was heterosexual lovemaking, it would involve cunnilingus, or oral sex using the male tongue to pleasure the female partner by licking her private parts.

Netdoctor says that cunnilingus has been accepted by many women in Britain and other western countries as part of the foreplay, likely influenced by their exposure to porn. While it is a safe alternative to coitus, it could pass on sexual infections. Cunnilingus, a common practice among lesbians, has become a mainstream activity even among heterosexual couple.

However, in a drunken twist to that kinky sex practice, a 27-year-old Alabama woman was found recently to have a cow's tongue inside her vagina that it had to be surgically removed. The woman came to the Alabama Women’s Health Hospital to consult doctors about a foul smell coming from her vagina.

“When I examined her, I saw something I have never seen in the 30 years I’ve been practicing medicine. The stench was horrifying,” The Controversial Files quotes Dr William Wright. The smell had been occurring for a week, and the woman thought the cause was bacterial infection, reports Now8News.

Wright inserted the speculum in her genital and something poked out. The doctor tried to remove the object which refused to move, leading him to schedule an emergency surgery.

The patient, when she woke up, could not explain why a cow’s tongue was found inside her genital. However, a female friend who went to the hospital to support her explained the incident to their getting drunk and the patient’s male partner asking her if she wanted to try doing something different.

The woman went to the bedroom, while the man opened the fridge and pulled out what looks like a package of meat, recalls her friend. “I had no idea what was going on and figured it was none of my business. You must’ve been real drunk!” she shares.

The incident caused her to have a mild infection, but the patient is now in good condition. She allowed Wright to share the story with Now8News to tell young people that getting drunk is not okay.

Meanwhile, a reproductive option was introduced to the market recently. It is the Nuva Ring which is worn inside the vagina while having coitus. Bustle reports that the device does not slip on top of the penis head and cut off circulation or be pushed far and require surgical removal like what happened to the Alabama woman.
