It’s only a matter of time before “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3” is announced. Two more DLC packs are going to be launched soon for the second instalment. Fans are expecting a number of improvements to the game and also the addition of new features.

The first two “Xenoverse” games have been able to grab player attention by mixing DBZ-based battle system and RPG elements. If Bandai Namco is at all developing the third instalment, it needs to put in a lot more effort in bettering the visuals. It needs to up the visual game. Comparing the existing games to “Ultimate Ninja Storm” series will instantaneously bring forth the differences in visual quality. “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” was not an ugly game by any means. However, it also did not set the world on fire through its visuals.

Many players found certain graphics pretty irritating. Moreover, playing the games on Xbox One, PC and PS4 bring out the flaws more. Some of the cut scenes in the latest instalment do look great, such as, the fight between Hit and SSGSS Goku. Fans would love to see such visuals in the rest of the game too. However, many have complained that “Xenoverse 2” is more of an expansion and not a proper sequel. This is due to the presence of too many cut scenes from the first game.

If Bandai Namco markets the “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3” as a sequel, it needs to develop new cut scenes from ground up. Another important element that the developer needs to implement in the game is races. Generic aliens and Android are a good option. The current games allow players to choose between Frieza, Majin, Namekian, Earthling and Saiyan. This does allow for some creativity. But races can bring the change players want to see. Moreover, a proper Versus Mode is the need of the hour, writes The Bitbag.

This is long due, as fans expected this mode to be simplified in “Xenoverse 2.” It didn’t happen. Hence, all eyes are on “Xenoverse 3.” Currently, players have to go to one of the stalls after loading the game and then choose Versus Mode. This is way too complicated for a fighting game. The developer also needs to implement more creative scenarios to fuel player interest, if at all it releases a sequel. “Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2” and the first game are available on PS4, PC and Xbox One.

The third DLC pack for “Xenoverse 2” will have Super Saiyan Rose’s Goku Black, Zamasu and Bojack. Stay tuned for more updates on the franchise and for any leaks on the possible third instalment.
