Upcoming "Dragon Age Inquisition" has been rated 'mature' by ESRB due to intense violence, nudity and sexual content. Sexual contents on the game were described by the board as well that implied fellatio and character nudity.

'Dragon Age Inquisition' Rated M By ESRB

Electronic Software Rating Board or ESRB rated the upcoming "Dragon Age Inquisition" as "mature" due to blood, intense violence, nudity, sexual content and strong language. It is expected that the game will really sport intense blood and violence similar to the previous game titles. However, ESRB used several descriptions on what players will possible see and hear during romances:

- A female character briefly depicted in front of a man's torso (fellatio is implied)

- Characters depicted topless or with exposed buttocks while lying in bed or after sex

- Some dialogue referencing sex or sexuality

One of the dialogues referencing about sex or sexuality is based on the lines "I will bring myself sexual pleasure later, while thinking about this with great respect." Strong words on dialogues have been noted by the board as well.

"Dragon Age Origins" And "Dragon Age 2" ESRB Ratings

Both "Dragon Age Origins" and "Dragon Age 2" also received "mature" rating from ESRB due to the same factors regarding blood, violence and sexual content. In "Dragon Age Origins," players will encounter the brothel where the hostess asks if interested in any special service with the option to choose which gender. Moreover, the "Surprise Me" package can sometimes bring a transsexual or an animal. Another sexual content included on the "Dragon Age Origins" are the special cut-scenes between the Warden and the companion during romance.

In "Dragon Age 2," sexual dialogues can happen during outside the cut-scene when the companions in the party begin to the talk to each other. Isabela will reveal her experience with female to female encounter if Hawke's sister, Bethany is in the party. Also, the game features the Blooming Rose brothel and Hawke's special a cut-scene for a romanced companion applicable to both male-female and same-sex relationships.

"Dragon Age Inquisition" will be released officially on Nov. 18 and compatible to several platforms including Windows PC, Xbox and PlayStation 4. It features the journey of the Inquisitor against the tear of the Veil.
