The teen model with Down’s syndrome, Madeline Stuart, celebrated her 19th birthday with a dance performance with the newly formed non-profit organisation--the Inside Outside Dance Ensemble, at the JellyRun Bulimba Festival 2015. The event was held at the Bulimba Junior Sports Field, Bulimba in Queensland on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The model celebrated her birthday with a dance performance at the Jelly Run. She spent her birthday with the local community at the charity event. In the later part of the day she enjoyed a private party in honour of her turning 19.

Stuart took to Twitter and shared her happiness with her followers:

She also shared about her debut dance performance.

International Business Times, Australia Edition previously spoke to Stuart via email. She said that she was very excited about her debut dance at the Jelly Run and loved her new dance ensemble. She reportedly could not wait for the new year (January) for all the classes of the new dance group to start. The teen said she loved the people at ICANIWILL as she always has fun with them.

“I am so excited to have so many people to celebrate with, in the afternoon we have a private party with about 100 guests at the same location,” she said, talking about her birthday plans. Madeline became the ambassador for ICANIWILL in September. She wanted to celebrate her birthday with the local community at the charities biggest fundraising event.

The Jelly Run is the biggest food fight in Australia. It is a community event organised by ICANIWILL, which promotes inclusion to bridge the social gap between local children and the younger generation. One of Australia’s fastest growing charities, it endeavours to make charity cool and fun.

The Run took place across two football ovals with multiple 2.5m high inflatable slides, jumping castles, inflatable obstacle courses, slip and slides and over 30 pools filled full of jelly. Participants got to wear ICANIWILL T-shirts.

Earlier, she strutted her stuff to raise awareness at the Endeavour Foundation’s Melbourne Cup luncheon on Nov. 3. The foundation is an educational facility in Melbourne that supports people with disabilities. Also, the teen received the Model of the Year Award at Melange 2015 in San Francisco in October.

Stuart wants to change the perception of society for people with special needs and their families. She has broken down barriers that have stood up for far too long. With the help and support of her mother Rosanne Stuart, who has been her driving force, Maddy has helped push down doors and open hearts.

Stuart featured on the cover of Hat Trick for its October issue, The Gloss reports. She competed in the Noosa Special Triathlon in Queensland on Nov. 9. It was a 300 metre swim, five kilometre bike ride and one kilometre run, Huffington Post reports.

The Brisbane-based beauty made her debut on the catwalk when she walked for designer Hendrik Vermeulen for FTL Moda at the New York Fashion Week in September. With her beautiful smile and warm persona, she captured the hearts of many people not only in the fashion week but also worldwide.
