Google's Android 5.0 Lollipop has not reached all devices yet. Fortunately for those who wish to experience the update ahead of the official roll out per manufacturers, a number of unofficial ROMs are now accessibelf for selected supported devices.

OnePlusOne users will be pleased to hear an Android 5.0 Lollipop download for their devices. According to Android Headlines, new Lollipop download for OnePlusOne is unofficial but can provide a glimpse of the Lollipop experience. Users may have to be prepared for a number of bugs since it is the initial version. Bluetooth does not function thus the report advises waiting for the Cyanogenmod for those who do not wish to have as many problems.

To install the ROM, follow these steps:

1. Download the ROM through here.

2. Transfer file to the SD card. Do not extract yet.

3. Turn off the handset. Boot to recovery mode by pressing and holding the power and volume down button.

4. Do a clear data or factory reset.

5. Install the file from the SD card. Make sure to select the right ROM.

6. Wait until the update finishes and the phone restarts.

In another report from Android Authority, HTC One M8 Google Play Edition also receives an unofficial Lollipop Port Ready for download. For those who wish to download the ROM, users need to make sure they have an unlocked bootloader. Rooting know how is also important.

The ROM came from the XDA community under the Skydragon ROM team. It was posted under the member Holy Angel. Users need to make sure they have the GPE edition as the ROM may cause problems for incompatible devices.
