Marvel Cinematic Universe’s new superhero film “Doctor Strange” is set to feature a stellar cast, including Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwel Ejifor and Benedict Cumberbatch. "Sherlock" actor, who is playing the title character, is currently shooting the film in Nepal, according to a leaked photo over the Internet.

Twitter user Prayush Khadka posted the photo with hastags "#drstrange #movie #cumberbatch" on Nov. 4 on her feed. The photo immediately gained traction with fans, with over a thousand retweets and likes.

The photo shows a heavily bearded Cumberbatch wearing a muted colour, civilian traveller outfit instead of the colourful and fantastical costume that his character is seen wearing in the comics. The look provides a little clue on what the fans can expect when the film hits the big screen.

Earlier in an interview with IGN, Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige confirmed that the upcoming film will tell the story of how Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange became the Sorcerer Supreme.

In the comic books, Strange learns about the mystic arts from the Ancient One, and afterwards, he dons the cloak and the costume that makes his character distinguishable.

Last August, Marvel released the concept art of “Doctor Strange” at the D23 expo. The concept art shows a very traditional version of the character that has Cumberbatch donning the red cape complete with gray hair at his temples. The actor teased via video message that the film is about “girls, cars, explosions, and astral projections into multiple universes. The usual fare.”

“Doctor Strange” is will introduce magic and other dimensions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Doctor Strange will be the world’s defender against mystical forces and will play a key role in Phase 3 of the MCU. The film will hit theatres on Nov. 4, 2016.
