Doctor Strange will appear in the Marvel Studios film “Thor: Ragnarok." Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will be accompanied by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) in the third Thor film instalment

Earlier in 2016, it was speculated that the Hulk would appear in “Thor: Ragnarok” in his green gladiator armour. The presence of Benedict Cumberbatch, playing the role of Doctor Strange, in the movie was also predicted. Recently, official Disney Fan Club D23 confirmed the news of Doctor Strange’s presence in the Thor movie.

“If you need even more intergalactic, world-saving action, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new,” the blog reads. The three Marvel Comics’ characters will come to life in movie theatres in November. New villains might also be present in the movie, as suggested by the statement.

It is believed that Tom Hiddleston, who plays the role of Loki, will reappear in the Marvel series. Other than that, the star cast would consist of Hemsworth as Thor, Ruffalo as the Hulk, and perhaps a returning Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

Marvel’s 2016 film “Doctor Strange” dominated the US box office for weeks with an earning of US$230.3 million (AU$320 million) as of Jan.2. Starring Cumberbatch in the title role, most of the domestic earnings came from the 3D show facilities. It also remained one of the highest grossing movies in Australia. Cumberbatch's presence proved beneficial for the movie and it can be the same for “Thor: Ragnarok.”

It will be very exciting for the viewers to witness the presence of these three famous Marvel Comics characters as they come together on the big screen. “Thor: Ragnarok” will bring together Thor, the Hulk and Doctor Strange on Oct. 26 in Australia, and on Nov. 3 in the US.
