After a month and a half since the Hollywood couple separated, Katie's marriage to Tom Cruise is officially over.

Katie and Tom have been on the news since she filed a divorce from the "Mission Impossible" actor. And just yesterday, a New York judge signed the final judgment to their legal papers.

Holmes, caught everyone by surprise by filing a divorce from Cruise while he was away shooting in Iceland. Nobody saw it coming since the pair always portrayed themselves as a perfect Hollywood couple. But last June, Katie decided to end their 5-year marriage.

The 33-year-old former "Dawson's Creek" star cited "irreconcilable differences" from the split and requested full sole custody of their six-year-old daughter, Suri. Last month, Tom and Katie released a joint statement saying that they will remain committed parents to their daughter.

"We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter Suri's best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other's roles as parents," they said in a statement.

Since the split, the two have been seen separately in New York as they spend quality time with Suri. The mother and daughter tandem are usually up and about around New York. In another occasion, Tom took Suri for a day trip in Disney World in Florida.

The "Oblivion" actor is busy shooting film after film. He is also reportedly in consideration of buying a New York property in order to be closer to her daughter Suri.

Last Wednesday, movers were seen in and out of the Bel Air mansion they once shared. The movers were taking Katie's belongings and moving it to an undisclosed place.
