Looks like fans of Veronica Roth's best-selling novel, "Divergent" are in for a treat. All thanks to a shipping error, a few fans had received their copies of "Allegiant" albeit too early. The third instalment of "Divergent" was scheduled for an official release by October 22. Due to the early leak, Veronica has begged fans not to release spoilers online.

If fans want to know what happens to Tris and Four in the final instalment of "Divergent," they are better off asking fellow "Initiates" who have received their copies of "Allegiant" earlier than planned. A shipping error had led to some fans of the novels receiving their copies earlier than the scheduled October 22 release. Veronica Roth confirmed this mishap early yesterday via her blog on Tumblr.

"If you are one of the people who received Allegiant early: I would love it if you wanted to wait to read it until October 22nd alongside your fellow Initiates," stated Roth, adding, "However, I can't blame you if that's just not going to work for you. I do ask, no matter what you decide, that out of kindness and respect for your fellow Divergent readers and their reading experiences, you do not post spoilers or quotes anywhere. I know I can count on you to preserve the mystery with me- I may be biased, but I think I have the best readers ever."

With October inching closer than ever, all fans have to do is wait for their own copies to arrive. For now, check out the slideshow to see stills from the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Divergent."
