In the third season finale of “Devious Maids,” Genevieve Delatour (Susan Lucci) has to choose between Zoila and her unborn child, as her friend had a dangerous complication during the delivery. Meanwhile, Adrian is believed to have died in the explosion caused by Carmen’s sociopath boyfriend, Sebastien (Gilles Marini).

Judy Reyes has since appeared in video previews for the new season, so she definitely lives. Zoila is still among the main characters in “Devious Maids” Season 4. As for Adrian Powell, the new season trailers have been more secretive of his status.

‘Devious Maids’ Season 4 could be best chapter yet

“We adored last season! We thought Season 3 was fantastic and we’re shooting Season 4 now [and] we’re all marveling, saying how could it be even better?” Lucci told the media during an AOL Build event in February.

There are a number of reasons why “Devious Maids” Season 4 could be the best season yet. Its producer Eva Longoria is gracing this season, something that fans of the “Desperate Housewives” actress have been waiting to see.

In connection to “Desperate Housewives,” James Denton, who played Mike Delfino, is heading over to “Devious Maids” for a story with Marisol Suarez (Ana Ortiz). On top of it, executive producer Marc Cherry, the boss behind both shows, has a treat to fans: something that Eva says in the new season premiere. Watch the video below.

Stepping in as main character this season is Daniela Mercado, portrayed by Argentinian actress and singer Sol Rodríguez. She is the daughter of Carmen Luna, played by Puerto Rican actress and singer Roselyn Sánchez.

“This season so far is the craziest, most shocking and funniest year. I’m so excited for it to [premiere] because I know for a fact that the viewers are going to get obsessed,” Sol told IBTimes.com.
