Bungie has reportedly been busy preparing for the launch of its first expansion for "Destiny," "The Dark Below" DLC. However, regardless of their tight schedule developers have managed to squeeze in some time to announce new features are coming to "Destiny" soon before the DLC's release on December 9.

Bungie on its official page announced over the weekend that developers have "prepped some packages for deployment." These packages are said to be updates to "Destiny."

"Things we've been talking about and working on for weeks are about to hit your hard drive," Bungie wrote.

These "bundles of joy" as described by Bungie will be released in the "weeks to come." However, no ETAs or specific schedules were provided on the release. But these "Destiny" updates will reportedly give players "new things to do and earn."

"Some of them will prepare the world you've conquered for some new arrivals, and push the boundaries," Bungie added on its page.

These new "Destiny" updates will reportedly be large download files. These include 1) new gear shaders, 2) Ways to preview items before you spend your Glimmer 3) Greater chances of "showers" in public spaces 4) Adjustments to some arenas that needed better traffic flow 5) New economies to equip you with upgrade materials 6) Fixes, patches, and other invisible technical evolutions. Lastly Bungie promises changes to happen to Cryptarch. "Destiny's" Master Rahool will eventually be more generous, says Bungie, although he would reportedly still be "sort of a bastard."

According to Cinemablend, voice chat will likely also become available in "Destiny." Bungie reportedly once promised the update back in September. Developers previously assured players that voice chat will be added to matchmaking activities such as Crucible matches and Strikes. The update was supposedly held back over Bungie's concerns about "griefing." However, according to Cinemablend developers want nothing more than for players to have the ability to better coordinate with each other. Thus, an expanded voice chat is believed to come soon as an update.

Developers also promised "some other tricks" will come soon but didn't reveal further details. However, Bungie assures that the world of "Destiny" will continue to grow with the release of new updates.
