Bungie is constantly developing new events for "Destiny." According to Gamerant it's the developer's way of committing to its promise that the game will continue to evolve even after its launch. So far, weekly events including the "Queen's Wrath" and "Iron Banner" were introduced. However, an unverified leak recently fueled speculations on the third subclass in "Destiny" by revealing its names and the powerful weapons linked with each class.

Gamerant claimed an insider, digging deeper into the programming system of "Destiny," has revealed some interesting details about the much speculated third subclass. Planet Destiny adds this insider claimed he has tested the upcoming "The Dark Below" DLC and found details pertaining to the subclass.

The first reportedly refers to the Titan's subclass called Crusader. The character's weapons supposedly include the Super and the grenade, which will reportedly also get some upgrades. The Super will supposedly feature a larger beam and can now shoot through walls or "shoot in front or behind the player." According to Gamerant writer Anthony Taormina, it will eventually let the "player shoot a large horizontal beam of light from their chest, taking out any enemies in its wake." Meanwhile, a Crusader can also utilise a triple grenade. The latter can be dropped behind while players are fleeing. There's also the melee grenade that's said to explode outward when a player is hit.

Another sub-class goes to the Warlock, which is called "Arc Thrower." Like the Crusader, its Super is reportedly also getting an upgrade. It uses lightning, spawned as giant orbs of light, to shoot at nearby enemies. Updates are said to increase the orb's attack range. It can spawn chain lightning or can supposedly already shoot at enemies even from a far distance. The Arc Thrower has an arc grenade, which is believed to consist of a detonator and can also provide the player additional health. Lastly, a fence grenade serves as an electric shield around the player.

Finally, the third rumoured "Destiny" subclass is "The Trapper." This new Hunter subclass' Super will be called Void Well. The latter will act as a trap on the battlefield. Enemies' movements when caught in the Void Well are reportedly restricted and they can't even jump. Upgrades to The Trapper's Super is said to ultimately reduce enemy movements and restrict their abilities. It will also expand the size of the Well. As for the grenade, The Trapper has three options. There's the void grenade that sticks to any surface, and another a bolas-type grenade that slows enemy movements and prohibits them from jumping. Lastly, there's the grenade called Caltrops, mini-grenades that when stepped on causes minimal damage.

However, this third subclass still remains a rumour. According to Planet Destiny, details may still be changed when the game releases its expansion, "The Dark Below," in December.
