Bungie has unveiled quite a lot of new information for the upcoming DLC of “Destiny.” Apart from a new video documentary that allows a glimpse of what’s in store, the developer has finally released some new information about the new subclasses coming with The Taken King DLC.

Over at the official Bungie website, there are new pages depicting not only what the new subclasses can do, but also some screenshots of how they look like. The first is the Stormcaller, which can directly manipulate, channel and chain lightning. These moves are Stormtrance for chaining Arc lightning, Thunderstrike to deliver an electrocution strike for a bigger range, and a Perpetual Charge to recharge the melees or grenade depending on the kill.

Sunbreaker Titans wield the Hammer of Sol, which can bring forth fire and destroy defenses of enemies. They can put enemies on fire with a solar strike, and if the Hammer of Sol is brought near a Sunspot, it can produce an overshield.

Finally, there is the Nightstalker, a subclass that possess the Shadowshot. This tether enemies to a Void Anchor to suppress them in battle. The attacks of the Nightstalker are slightly stealthy and defensive in nature. It can create a Voidwall Grenade made of Void Light, make use of Shadestep to evade and avoid damage and throw a smokescreen to disorient those that are caught in the cloud.

The Taken King will be a full upgrade that costs $40. But it appears that there is some advantage to players who have the Season Pass. Attack of the Fanboy reports that season pass holders will get some special items, an exclusive emblem, a sparrow, shader and tower items, all of which are in lieu of the first year that “Destiny” has been in the hands of the players.

“We want to roll out the white glove treatment for them in what we’re calling the VIP Edition,” said Bungie Executive Producer Mark Noseworthy in an interview with Attack of the Fanboy.

However, the season pass holder exclusive rewards do have a time limit and criteria for claiming. Players would either need to have at least one light level 30 character or have owned both of the two previous expansions The Dark Below and House of Wolves on or before Aug. 31, 2015. The players should have also purchased and played The Taken King expansion on or before Feb. 1, 2016.

There are some exemptions, meaning players who are eligible to get the VIP rewards, such as those who will buy the “Destiny: The Taken King” or “Destiny: The Taken King” Legendary Edition and the “Destiny: The Taken King” Collector’s Edition, be it physical or digital copy.
