There seems to be no end to the "Destiny" leaks to surprise gamers. While Bungie is preparing for the release of "The Dark Below" DLC, which is due in December, some players managed to mine the game's system to discover an interesting code. This code reportedly hinted of the possible inclusion of customisable armour shaders for gamer's ships and vehicles.

According to VG247, the code could have been "hacked" by DestinyDB. The latter is reportedly famous for its data mining resources when it comes to gathering information about the first-person shooter game. However, a detailed look inside the leaked "The Dark Below" DLC code is collated by Planet Destiny.

A code described as "code tweaks and mods for more complex armor shaders" reportedly pertains to a "Shader Data." Gamers' request for costumisable shaders will supposedly now be made possible with this code in "The Dark Below" DLC. No further details were revealed regarding the leak. However, vg247 supposed the data would now allow gamers to choose the colour of their armour's shaders according to their liking.

The code is reportedly not just limited to armour shaders. A "Ship Shader Template" is found to also "allow a Shader to interface with ship hull coatings." Described as "a reverse engineered shell," the "Ship Shader Template" will supposedly give gamers free reign in modifying the colours of their ships. The same goes to their vehicles with the discovery of "a layer of translation code that allows a shader to interface with vehicle coatings." This refers to the "Vehicle Shader Template," which was supposedly also discovered in "The Dark Below" expansion.

While on the subject of "Destiny" mining, Planet Destiny claimed the new DLC will also feature redesigned ships. Likewise, "The Dark Below" expansion will reportedly also reveal some ship models that have yet to be discovered. The site posted some photos of the said ships and labeled them accordingly as Permission To Stomp, Made of Shakespeare and Never Liked Thermodynamics.

However, this interesting code leak for shaders is still pending the developer's confirmation. Bungie has yet to formally announce further details to "The Dark Below" DLC for "Destiny."
