In line with the Halloween celebrations, Bungie has decided to treat gamers with some unlockable items fit for the said occassion. A Halloween-themed item/weapon and a Halloween-themed vehicle in "Destiny" was released by Bungie. Below is a guide on where players can locate these contents in "Destiny."

The first Halloween-themed item according to Gamerant can be found at the Postmaster. "Destiny" players will supposedly notice a new package at the Postmaster called All Hallow's Eve. This package is actually a box adds Gamezone. It contains three items called Jackolyte. The Jackolyte will reportedly allow gamers to design their helmet with a new cover, one that resembles a Jack O' Lantern. It's basically a giant Acolyte-style pumpkin placed on the head, adds Gamezone.

However, the Jackolyte also has another useful purpose in "Destiny." It can also be a weapon. Gamerant claims the consumable covering can also ward off Hive enemies while it's being worn. But there's supposedly a limit to how long it can sustain the ability to ward off enemies. The Jackolyte can reportedly only stay active for 30 minutes. Furthermore, it's not an item that's readily available. According to the site the Postmaster can only give three Jackolytes and players can earn one by "killing Hive enemies with the buff on."

Unfortunately, Bungie has been getting reports that the Halloween-themed Jackolyte doesn't work. According to Gamezone, players complained that the pumpkin-head doesn't change anything. It reportedly doesn't ward off Hive enemies as was initially intended. Based on Bungie's FAQ, Gamezone supposed the Jackolyte is merely for cosmetic purposes. However, developers are reportedly looking into the problem.

"Destiny" gamers can reportedly also spot other Halloween-themed items scattered throughout the game. Another consumable, the Flight of the Shadows, is earned by killing Hives. According to writer Anthony Taormina, it can give players a "unique respawn animation for 24 hours, and a set of four new Sparrows themed around the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse."

These Halloween-themed Sparrows are believed to contain unique Destabilizer feature. Pressing on the "X" or the square option in the control pad supposedly activates this feature. Interestingly, it can reportedly also allow players to do barrel rolls while on air. According to Taormina it's still uncertain how these Sparrows can be unlocked in "Destiny" although assumes that players have already figured it how by now.
