It would seem like T.J. Miller is going to be playing as Weasel after all in “Deadpool” opposite Ryan Reynolds, the latter playing the titular character. Miller recently hinted his role in the movie on social media, possibly proving previous reports of his rumoured movie character.

T.J. Miller recently took to his Twitter page on March 17 to post a rather cryptic message hinting his involvement in “Deadpool.” He wrote, @BeetleBench @ccstandup It wouldn't be that I am so motherfucking method that @RealErlich is a tub of arrogance but #Deadpool #WeaselThin. There’s no telling what his message could mean. But according to Comic Book Movie, it could be a hint to his possible role as Weasel in “Deadpool.” However, the actor didn’t reply to a user’s response to his post, when asked if he’s officially playing the character.

Fox has yet to officially announce if T.J. Miller has indeed been cast in “Deadpool.” However, his post especially the hashtag “#weaselthin,” supposedly also hints that he is trying to cut down on some weight for his role in the film.

The Wrap’s Jeff Sneider previously said that “the role Miller has been offered serves as an additional comic voice to compliment Deadpool, who often breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the audience.” Sneider’s statements has since led to many speculations that T.J. Miller will be Weasel in “Deadpool,” a character who is supposedly best suited to be portrayed by Miller because of the actor’s natural comedic style.

In the Marvel universe Weasel, born Jack Hammer in Queens, New York, first appeared in the 1993 comics “Deadpool: The Circle Chase #1.” He is described as a wayward information broker and arms dealer. He meets Deadpool at some point at the two become friends and crime-fighting allies. Weasel also supplies Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool with his much-needed weapons. Movieweb claims T.J. Miller is a natural fit to play Weasel especially since the character is also a resident comedic relief sidekick to Deadpool.

If T.J. Miller’s rumoured role as Weasel is confirmed, then he will be joining previously confirmed “Deadpool” casts, including Gina Carano (Angel Dust) and Morena Baccarin (Deadpool’s love interest).
