Filming of “Deadpool 2” continues at Vancouver in full swing. Newly leaked pictures from the set show Ryan Reynolds preparing to film his scenes and a stunt double running in traffic. The following article contains minor spoilers.

Pictures posted on YVR Shoots show a stunt double for Reynolds running in traffic. It was a night shoot on a closed block at Vancouver, and it was heavily raining.

While the stunt double did some of the work in this scene, they still needed the actor for the close-up shots. Reynolds was spotted on the set at around midnight. The actor was seen wearing a black hoodie. His face, hands and feet had prosthetics and makeup.

The scene apparently involves Wade running barefoot in the rain. It is not clear which other characters are involved in this scene. One of the pictures, which seems to be that of the stunt double, shows the superhero looking up in anguish, suggesting that this was an emotional sequence rather than a fight scene.

Another leaked picture of Reynolds shows the actor wearing a full black gown with a hood to cover the costume. The picture was taken in between takes, while the actor was discussing the scene.

David Leitch is directing the movie. The director has worked on many blockbuster Hollywood movies like “300,” “Fight Club” and “V for Vendetta.” He directed the film “Atomic Blonde” and is the producer of “John Wick.”

The plot of the upcoming Reynolds’ film is still kept under wraps. It is set to introduce new characters like Nathan Summers (Josh Brolin), while familiar characters like Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Voice by Stefan Kapicic) will return.

“Deadpool 2” is set to be released on June 1, 2018 in the US. The producers are yet to announce a release date for Australia.
