'Dead or Alive' and 'Fairy Tail' collaboration

Arcade fighting game "Dead or Alive: Final Round" will have more downloadable content for players, according to Team Ninja. The developers confirmed that they will add more costumes for the characters and fighting stages in August and the following months.

The creators of "Dead or Alive" announced that they have collaborated with several animation studios and manga authors in May 2015. On June 21, KOEI Tecmo released costumes inspired after the main characters of the popular long-running adventure series "Fairy Tail." Players can dress up their characters and fight as Natsu Dragneel, Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, and more.

According to Siliconera, a costume set based on the well-known ongoing action manga "Shingeki no Kyojin," or "Attack on Titan," was released on July 19. The characters in "Dead or Alive 5" can be seen sporting the Survey Corps uniforms and hairstyles akin to the characters, namely, Eren Jaeger, Levi Ackerman, Annie Leonhardt, Mikasa Ackerman, Krista Lenz and Sasha Blouse. A stage developed after the iconic Wall Rose in "Attack on Titan" was released as well. The costumes may be downloaded individually or as a pack for a certain cost. One costume costs US$2.99 (AU$3.99) while a batch is US$39.49 (AU$46.70). Playstation Network and Xbox Live users with the season pass 4 can claim the costumes from June to July.

According to Anime News Network, there will be more DLC available for players. The fifth installment of the "Dead or Alive" series also features costumes from characters in the visual novel "To Heart" and drama-romance anime "White Album." In addition, Mai Shiranui from the "King of Fighters" series will be available as a playable character in September.

Fans of "Dead or Alive: Last Round" are advised to stay tuned for further DLC announcements. Come October, the winning entries in a Halloween fan-design contest will be featured as the the next downloadable costumes.
