It’s a day of reckoning for some Salem characters on the next episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). Victor (John Aniston) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) force Kate (Lauren Koslow) to admit that she’s behind the Tatenapping case. Backed into a corner, she confesses to the crime. However, spoilers suggest that she won’t go down without a fight – it appears Kate has some dirt on them that she threatens to use if they send her to jail.

Meanwhile, Theresa (Jen Lilley) will be in for an impromptu party to celebrate her last days of singlehood. While she’s having fun, someone else is in misery because of her, and it won’t be long before he seeks revenge. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Sept. 8 installment include Eve (Kassie DePaiva), Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Xander (Paul Telfer), Orpheus (George DelHoyo, Clyde (James Read), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols).

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

On Wednesday, Deimos called Victor and asked his brother to meet him immediately. They discussed the real person responsible for the Tatenapping case and what to do about it. They headed off to the park to meet the true culprit: Kate. She asked what's going on and Victor told her that have unfinished business. They wondered if she thought she could get away with it. Meanwhile, Kate turned up at the DiMera mansion. Chad asked her help to rebuild DiMera Enterprises. Laura said it’s a big mistake and an argument ensued between her and Kate. Once Chad went off to get some air, Kate blew her top, saying, “You're crazy as a loon. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.” Later, Chad called Kate and apologised for Laura’s outburst. He asked whether Kate accepts his offer to help turn the company around.
