"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

On Thursday, Marlena blamed herself for Claire’s abduction and John comforted her. He suddenly remembered giving Claire a necklace with a transponder inside. He and Marlena headed to Steve and Kayla’s house to tell them about it. They were puzzled, however, why she hasn't activated it yet. At the hideout, the three fugitives clashed over what to do with the kids. Claire dropped the necklace but Joey managed to pick it up. She told him to press the diamond on the necklace.

Meanwhile, Abe prepared to start the press conference. He tried to calm down the Salemites and reassure them. His speech was cut off when Orpheus hacked the broadcast and told Abe that they should be afraid – he and his two cohorts won’t stop until they get what they want. Orpheus also showed a live footage of Claire and Joey, then demanded for 20 million. Later, Clyde aimed at Aiden but Abe blocked his way, accidentally being the bullet’s target. The gunshot created havoc at the square, with everyone running around in panic.
