As the fugitives’ acts of destruction come to an end, Salem is set to battle another nightmare on the next episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Thursday, a dangerous character makes his way to the city to surprise his ex-girlfriend, Blanca (Ximena Duque). However, she won’t be the only one who’ll cower in fear at the sight of Guillermo (Kurt Caceres) – it seems that Theresa (Jen Lilley) also has a good reason to be worried about his arrival.

Speaking of Theresa, she makes a huge confession to Brady (Eric Martsolf) concerning Xander’s (Paul Telfer) capture. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Oct. 20 installment include Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Victor (John Aniston) and Dario (Jordi Vilasuso).

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

On Wednesday, Steve faced up to Orpheus while holding a gun up his head. Steve and John were able to distract the fugitive, and Orpheus got shot in the arm with his own gun. The two heroes tied up the escaped prisoner. Steve then called Kayla and Adrienne to share the information with them. The two women heaved a sigh of relief, and Kayla decided to reopen the hospital. Meanwhile, Marlena rushed to the police station and had an emotional reunion with John. He showed her Orpheus, who’s safely locked up in the interrogation room. However, when Marlena went in to attend to his wound, he managed to grab a cop’s gun and hold her hostage. The cop ran to seek help from Steve and John. Orpheus, on the other hand, took a poisonous substance from Marlena’s bag. She was horrified, and he said he won't give her and "John Boy" the satisfaction of putting him away. Soon enough, the evil villain succumbed to the poison and died. “It's all over,” John declared.
