Emotional endings usher in exciting beginnings in Salem on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Thursday, fans are looking forward to welcome back Abigail Deveraux or Abby, who will now be played by Marci Miller. It would be interesting to see how the new Abby picks up where the character left off, especially in terms of relationship with Chad (Billy Flynn).

Followers of the long-running soap would remember that Abby’s character was believed to be killed off in an airplane crash. This was the storyline used to explain the departure of actress Kate Mansi, who used to play the role. Meanwhile, Abby’s return signals the impending departure of another favourite character, Theresa, played by Jen Lilley.

Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the Nov. 10 installment include Brady (Eric Martsolf), Chad (Billy Flynn), JJ (Casey Moss), Gabi (Camila Banus), Sonny (Freddie Smith), Paul (Christopher Sean), Theo (Kyler Pettis) and Valerie (Vanessa Williams).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” a mysterious woman turns up in Salem, while Brady and Theresa get into a heated conflict. Elsewhere, Gabi organises a party with Sonny, Paul and Chad to welcome JJ home. Theo, on the other hand, is set to discover the truth about Valerie after hearing her lie on the phone.

In the previous episode, Theresa met Mateo at the pier, where he gave her a necklace as a gift. Mateo professed his love for her, saying that the time they spent together was his happiest. Theresa replied that if he loved her, he would let her go, but Mateo said he couldn’t. When he leaned in to kiss her, she pulled away. Mateo informed her that nobody has ever said no to him. She requested him to give her more time to leave – she needs to convince Brady first that she doesn’t love him. Mateo agreed.

Elsewhere, Brady consulted Marlena about Theresa. Marlena reckoned that Theresa’s behaviour is a result of the recent spate of attacks by the evil trio. Marlena asked Brady to be gentle and patient, assuring him that Theresa would come around. Marlena also suggested going on a getaway to help Theresa heal. At home, Theresa put pills on her bag, which Brady later found.
