“Days Of Our Lives” soap recap

In the previous episode, Tripp (Lucas Adams) didn’t believe Steve (Stephen Nichols), who confessed to killing Ava (Tamara Braun) because he followed ISA orders. Tripp was furious just as Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Joey (James Lastovic) arrived. When Steve shared with them what happened, Joey almost blurted out the truth but Kayla cut him and said that Ava was unstable. Tripp said he didn’t know what to believe – he just wanted to know the details of his mother’s death. Later, Tripp made a call to a mysterious person and talked about his mum.

Meanwhile, Steve and Kayla become worried that Jade (Danielle Haugh) or Joey might inadvertently tell Tripp the truth about Ava. up and tell Tripp the truth. Steve said he’d continue protecting Joey and Kayla said she hopes Joey won’t decide to protect his dad. Steve assured Kayla that he’ll have a word with Joey and won’t stop trying to win over his other son.

At the hospital, Adrienne (Judi Evans) was happy to hear that the cancer was all gone. She asked to speak to Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) alone and told him that she made up her mind: she’s choosing him. The two kissed and Adriene revealed that Lucas is the man she wants for the rest of her life. After, she talked to Justin (Wally Kurth) and told him about her decision. While he was heartbroken, Justin said he understood and said he’ll always love her. Adrienne turned emotional as Justin assured her that they’ll stay as friends. Outside, Justin asked Lucas to take care of Adrienne and not to make the same mistakes as he did.
