Excitement never stops in Salem City and the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) is no exception. On Wednesday, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) become increasingly worried for their son and his ability to keep quiet about killing Ava (Tamara Braun).

Fans would remember that while Steve informed Tripp (Lucas Adams) about Ava’s death, he didn’t tell the entire truth. Instead of saying that Joey (James Lastovic) murdered Ava, Steve said he was the one who killed her. Other characters who will figure prominently on the March 29 run include Adrienne (Judi Evans), Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Justin (Wally Kurth), Jade (Danielle Haugh) and Eli (Lamon Archey).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Eli and Gabi get an opportunity to grow closer as she recovers in the hospital. Adrienne, on the other hand, finally makes a decision between Lucas and Justin, surprising the two men. The soap’s website posted sneak peek photos of Lucas and Justin, as well as Eli and Gabi, for the March 29 episode.

The upcoming run also features Tripp, who snoops around to find out more details about his mother’s death. Meanwhile, Steve and Kayla get concerned with Joey – he might let it slip and inadvertently confess the truth about Ava.

“Days Of Our Lives” soap recap

In the previous episode, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) was taken away by a man who threatened him with a gun. At the police station, Chad (Billy Flynn) pretended not to recognise Deimos’ goon and hinted that he’ll handle things on his own. JJ (Casey Moss) cautioned him not to do anything illegal. Later, Chad arrived at a warehouse, where Deimos was tied up. Chad’s goon assaulted Deimos, who said that the family war is supposed to be finished. The two got into an argument and Chad ended up pulling a gun. However, he didn’t use it and just said that the war is over.

Elsewhere, Steve told Tripp that his mum was dead – he killed her. Tripp was floored with Steve’s murder confession. In another room at the hospital, Jade and Joey were talking about Ava’s death. She promised to keep Joey’s secret. Kayla arrived and told them that Jade overdosed on painkillers. Joey promised to stay there and look after her. Later, Kayla reprimanded Joey for giving Jade mixed signals and leading her on.
