'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for March 23: Chad scrambles to save Gabi; search for them and Abby continues

Another suspense-filled day hounds Salem City on the upcoming episode of “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Thursday, Chad (Billy Flynn) frantically tries to rescue Gabi (Camila Banus) after he chose to give his wife the antidote. Spoilers suggest that after the whole traumatic ordeal, Chad, Gabi and Abby (Marci Miller) will fortunately come out alive.

This is exactly what their loved ones hope for as the manhunt for them continues. Sonny (Freddie Smith), Paul (Christopher Sean), Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and JJ (Casey Moss) join forces to find where Deimos’ (Vincent Irizarry) goons took them. Other characters who will figure prominently on the March 23 run include Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Joey (James Lastovic) and Jade (Danielle Haugh).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Steve and Kayla get an important lead as they try to search for his son with Ava. Chad, on the other hand, finds himself in a tricky spot as he has to decide whether to save Abby or Gabi. The soap’s website posted sneak peek photos of Chad and Abby, as well as Kayla and Steve for the March 23 episode.

The upcoming run also features Joey, who makes Jade happy when he takes time to care for her. Meanwhile, JJ, Paul and Dario move heaven and earth to find Chad, Abby and Gabi. Fans would remember how the three went missing. Abby was taken by a goon pretending to be a reporter, while another goon grabbed Gabi at the park. Chad, on the other hand, received a message from his wife’s phone that told him exactly where Abby was. He wasted no time and hurried to get to Warehouse 8.

“Days Of Our Lives” soap recap

In the previous episode, Sonny shared with Paul his suspicions about Deimos. Sonny was determined to get concrete evidence against his uncle – it’s the only way to put the villain in jail. Later, when Sonny overheard Deimos’ evil plans about Chad, he asked what’s going on. Deimos told him that Chad, who stole his business, has become an enemy. When Sonny insisted that Chad is his best friend, Deimos berated him and reminded him that he’s a Kiriakis. Sonny stormed off and called Paul to ask him to protect Chad.

At the warehouse, Deimos’ goon brought Gabi and tied her up, just like he did to Abby. Later, another goon spotted Chad outside the warehouse and knocked him down. He was also tied up and only regained consciousness when Abby called his name. Chad noticed that Abby and Gabi have IVs on their arms and screamed, demanding to know what’s going on. One of the goons put a speaker on the table and Deimos’ voice was soon heard. He said that the IV bags contain poison and Chad would be given an antidote, but it would only be good for one person. Deimos only gave him 30 seconds to choose between Abby and Gabi. In the end, Chad decided to give Abby the antidote.
