Things are about to heat up in Salem City as “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) opens the week. On Monday, Eric (Greg Vaughan) changes his mind and decides to head home to start a new chapter of his life. Fans of the long-running soap wonder if his return would signal romance between him and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves).

Meanwhile, Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) manages to track down Nicole (Arianne Zucker) but becomes consumed with jealousy when he sees her with Brady (Eric Martsolf). TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Dario’s feelings for Abby intensifies as he spends more time with her during their dance lessons. Deimos, on the other hand, makes a last-ditch effort to win back Nicole. Monday’s installment also features Chad and Gabi, who take a trip down memory lane all the way to their high school days. Meanwhile, Eric gears up for his long-awaited homecoming to Salem. "DOOL" followers would remember that Eric was sent to jail after he figured in a car accident that killed Daniel (Shawn Christian). Eric decided to stay out of Salem but was seen again in the soap after he helped Hope (Kristian Alfonso).

“Days Of Our Lives” soap recap

In the previous episode, Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) discussed the proper approach to tell Joey that he has a brother. As Steve practised the big revelation in front of Kayla, Joey walked in and overheard the whole thing. Joey (James Lastovic) confronted his dad, who admitted that he has a half-brother named Tripp Dalton. Joey was concerned that Tripp may discover he was the one who killed Ava but his parents were optimistic that things will work out for their family.

Elsewhere, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) went to the Kiriakis mansion to interrogate Deimos about Nicole. The two got into a heated argument until Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) appeared and intervened. Deimos stormed out and Chloe told Maggie that she’s looking for Nicole and Holly. After revealing that Deimos has no clue about Nicole’s whereabouts, Maggie blamed Chloe for pushing Nicole to the edge. According to Maggie, the restraining order prompted Nicole to resort to desperate measures.

Speaking of Nicole, she and baby Holly were still at the safe house. Brady arrived to bring them some groceries and informed her that the couple who stole her stuff already left the hotel. Nicole realised how hopeless her situation was and became emotional. Brady assured her that he’ll always be there for her and the baby. As they prepared to leave, Deimos appeared at the door. Elsewhere, Chloe ran into Eddie (A Martinez) at TBD and told him all about the kidnapping incident. They found a common ground: their deep hatred for Deimos. Eddie volunteered to help Chloe track down Nicole and the baby.
