'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for June 22: Chad plans to free Abby from mental facility; mystery man takes the blame for Stefano’s murder
Another bombshell drops on Salem on the upcoming episode of “Days of Our Lives” (“DOOL”). On Wednesday, Chad (Billy Flynn) comes up with a risky move to help Abby (Kate Mansi) escape from Shady Hills. Chad is worried that his wife would be moved to another institution, and worse, face charges for setting a fire in the facility. Meanwhile, a stranger suddenly walks in to the police station and confesses to killing Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the June 22 installment include Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove), Rafe (Galen Gering), Roman (Josh Taylor), Andre (Thaoo Penghlis) and Marlena (Deidre Hall).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Hope invites Aiden to go with her for an out-of-town trip. Meanwhile, a man who identified himself as Monahan turns himself to the police and says he has committed a murder. Elsewhere, Marlena goes to see Abby at Shady Hills, while Chad works out something to help Abby escape from the institution.

On Tuesday, Aiden visited Andre in prison. Andre dangled an offer to him: he could take Rafe out of Hope’s life if Aiden helps him get out of jail. When Aiden saw Hope and Rafe eating ice cream and having a nice time together, he decided it’s time to take out his romantic rival out of the equation. He sent a message for Andre, telling him that he’s agreeing with their deal. Later, Rafe discussed his failed relationship with Eduardo. Rafe assured Eduardo he’s fine. However, he’s worried about Hope. He believed that Aiden cannot be trusted and something about him doesn’t feel right.
