'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for July 21: Hope experiences a medical crisis; Rafe pulls out all the stops to save her
Every damsel in distress needs a knight in shining armour, and the favourite love team in “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) proves it on the soap’s upcoming episode. On Thursday, Rafe (Galen Gering) realises after his nightmare that he can’t let the love of his life die in his arms. Spoilers hint that he’ll do anything to rescue Hope (Kristian Alfonso), who’s suffering from a deteriorating health condition.
“DOOL” fans wonder whether Rafe would be successful in saving Hope’s life, and what they would do to Andre (Thaoo Penghlis) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) after the terrifying incident. Other “Days Of Our Lives” cast members who will figure prominently on the July 21 installment include Victor (John Aniston), Summer (Marie Wilson), Theresa (Jen Lilley), Brady (Eric Martsolf), Chad (Billy Flynn), Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and JJ (Casey Moss).

TV Guide reports that on Thursday’s run of “DOOL,” Brady confronts Victor whether he has a hand in Tate’s abduction. Summer, on the other hand, gets emotional as she pleads her case to Theresa. Meanwhile, Aiden insists that he’s innocent. Elsewhere, Hope’s medical condition takes a turn for the worse.

On Wednesday, Rafe had a nightmare about the terrible state he is in with Hope. In his dream, Aiden appeared and accused Rafe of killing Hope. Enraged, Rafe tried to strangle Aiden with his own tie. Instead of suffering, however, Aiden mocked him, wondering, “Is that the best you've got?” At that point, Rafe also spotted Andre, who said that the only person Rafe was capable of killing is the woman he loves. He also dreamt of trying to find a way out of the tunnel while Andre and Aiden continued to tease him and act like Hope’s already dead. Eduardo then appeared and pushed Rafe to be strong. Rafe’s father gave him a gun for retribution. All the other men then vanished, leaving Rafe and Hope alone. “You didn't love me enough,” she whispered. Rafe woke up with a start and saw Hope is still alive. He fell asleep again, and another nightmare ensued, this time featuring Ciara, Shawn, Dario, Adriana and Gabi. Andre and Aiden also re-appear, along with Doug, who blamed Rafe for Hope’s death. Rafe dreamt of shooting Aiden and Andre. He then professed his love for Hope, who said it back, but fell to the floor and died. Rafe woke up again and tried to look for a way to get out again.
