Danger continues to lurk in and out of Salem City as “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) opens the week. On Monday, Eric (Greg Vaughan) is struggling to care for Hope (Kristian Alfonso), whose health has made a turn for the worse. Since she’s considered a fugitive, Eric can’t easily provide her the medical attention that she needs.

Spoilers suggest that despite this predicament, he’ll still pull out all the stops to make sure she stays alive. Meanwhile, another drama is brewing in Salem as Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) finally admits to Brady (Eric Martsolf) that Holly is Nicole’s (Arianne Zucker) baby. Her confession, however, doesn’t mean that she’s giving Holly to her rightful mother – spoilers hint that Chloe will fight for custody. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 23 run include Deimos (Vincent Irizarry), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Steve (Stephen Nichols), Marlena (Deidre Hall) and Rafe (Galen Gering).

TV Guide reports that on Monday’s run of “DOOL,” Eric takes care of Hope, whose life hangs in the balance once again. Meanwhile, Chloe finally tells Brady the truth about Holly. The “Days Of Our Lives” website posted sneak peek photos of Hope and Eric, as well as Chloe for the Jan. 23 episode.

Also on Monday, Kayla reaches Prague to see how Steve is doing. "DOOL" viewers would remember that he accidentally got shot as he and the others are chasing after Stefano (Joseph Mascolo). Nicole, on the other hand, realises that Deimos is in serious jeopardy.

In the previous episode, Abby (Marci Miller) and Gabi (Camila Banus) eavesdropped on Chad’s (Billy Flynn) conversation with Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) regarding the crime war. Dario didn’t want to share the technology that everyone’s interested in, called The Orwell. Tension rose between him and Sonny, who said that they have the programming. When Chad asked Sonny to calm down, an argument ensued and led Chad to walk out. Gabi and Abby left, too, before they get caught. At the park, the two agreed to team up and solve the Orwell issue – they want to find the device and destroy it.

Meanwhile, Nicole was anxious about her upcoming wedding with Deimos. She worried that the day may be cursed, similar to Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve. Deimos appeared and offered to elope with her right there and then. She questioned his decision and reminded him that she already made plans about their wedding. Later, Nicole went to the hospital to check in with Chloe and Holly. Nicole invited Chloe to attend the wedding, but the latter refused. Chloe also asked Nicole to break up with Deimos. When Nicole said she can’t, Chloe said they can't be friends anymore and Holly would be off-limits. Nicole became emotional as she requested to hold the baby once more. Afterwards, Brady also showed up at the hospital and confronted Chloe if Nicole is Holly’s real mum.
