'Days Of Our Lives' spoilers for Jan. 11: Hope fights for her life; Rafe and the others may finally meet Stefano

The action continues on “Days Of Our Lives” (“DOOL”) as a shocking turn of events transpire on the soap’s upcoming episode. On Wednesday, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) manages to get out of jail, even though she didn’t plan it at all. Spoilers suggest, however, that she’s not quite out of the woods yet.

Hope’s life is still in danger, making her loved ones extremely worried. Other “Days Of Our Lives” characters who will figure prominently on the Jan. 11 installment include Rafe (Galen Gering), Steve (Stephen Nichols), Marlena (Deidre Hall), Paul (Christopher Sean), Carrie (Christie Clark), Austin (Austin Peck), Anna (Leann Hunley), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), Shawn (Brandon Beemer), Ciara (Vivian Jovanni), Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker).

TV Guide reports that on Wednesday’s run of “DOOL,” Carrie and Austin rescue Marlena and Anna, who find themselves in hot water. Elsewhere, Kayla, Shawn and Ciara discover that Hope escaped from jail. The “Days Of Our Lives” website posted sneak peek photos of Hope, Carrie, Austin, Marlena and Anna for the Jan. 11 episode.

Also on Wednesday, Hope’s life hangs in the balance. Elsewhere, Rafe, Steve and Paul gear up for an important meeting. Deimos, on the other hand, arranges for a romantic date with Nicole.

"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

In the previous episode, Abby (Marci Miller) told Chad (Billy Flynn) that she’s bringing Thomas to Jennifer’s (Melissa Reeves) house. Chad smiled, realising that he and Abby could spend a romantic evening out together. Later, Abby and Chad went to a dinner date and they talked about their relationship. Chad said he needs her to be herself, the woman he'd like to fall in love with again. Abby agreed and they danced. However, when they arrived home, Chad went to bed alone.

Elsewhere, Hattie (Deidre Hall) made Hope faint using chloroform and sneaked her out to a dumpster. Hattie then sought the help of a prison employee, Chet (Jeffrey Markle), to take the dumpster away. Later, an alarm sounded and Hope’s enemies learned that a prisoner escaped. “Bon Voyage, Hopie,” Hattie muttered to herself. Meanwhile in Prague, Marlena bumped into Anna, who’s also out to get Stefano. Anna brought out a gun and shortly after, a police officer appeared, thinking the two women were involved in a shooting at a café earlier. Paul arrived and all of them headed to the police station for questioning. Later, Steve and Rafe arrived, while Marlena and Anna were arrested.
